The Study On Water Conservancy In Hetao Area Of Qing Dynasty

Water conservancy is an important part of Hetao area.Water conservancy is the lifeline of agriculture.It can be said that there would be no agriculture and the development of other industries without water conservancy,The water conservancy in Hetao area of Inner Mongolia has made great progress after Qing Dynasty,which is related to its special physical and geographical conditions,social driving factors,historical factors,policies and emigration and so on.Throughout the process of water conservancy development in Hetao area of Qing Dynasty,it has experienced two stages:land business water conservancy,official water conservancy,and formed different water conservancy management modes and management methods.As a special group of Qing Dynasty society,the land merchants carried out water conservancy development in their individual status.This has certain reference significance to the development of modern and even modern Hetao water conservancy.The main structure of this paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the basic physical and geographical conditions of Hetao area from three aspects:climate,soil and common disasters.The second chapter introduces the development process of water conservancy in Hetao area of Qing Dynasty,and the reason,development,climax and finally decline process of the development of water conservancy in Hetao area of Qing Dynasty with the clue of time.The third chapter analyzes the water conservancy management of the whole Hetao area in Qing Dynasty,including the water conservancy management system,the drainage management,the water conservancy regulations,the income and expenditure of water expenses,the loss and so on.The fourth chapter focuses on the role and influence of land merchants,a special social group,in the development of water conservancy in Hetao region.The fifth chapter evaluates the development of water conservancy in Hetao area in Qing Dynasty from four aspects:economic structure,political structure,social ethos and ecological environment.The conclusion makes a brief summary of the full text.
