Study Of Yangzhou Urban Water Conservancy During Ming And Qing Dynasties

The development history of Yangzhou can be traced back to the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.The Ming and Qing Dynasties are the last stage of its ancient development history.During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the spatial scope of Yangzhou City continued to expand,from the old city to the new city,and then to the prosperous and slender West Lake area.With the construction of Yangzhou City,the construction of water bodies has continued to develop and improve.Urban water conservancy construction has a certain connection with Yangzhou’s urban construction,socio-economic and cultural development.In view of this,this article is based on urban water conservancy and Yangzhou in the Ming and Qing Dynasties as the research object,analyzes the layout and construction of water conservancy facilities in Yangzhou cities at that time,in order to clarify the current situation of urban water conservancy facilities.Rivers,lakes,wells,bridges and rivers in Yangzhou City.The relationship between urban water conservancy facilities such as waterscape layout in garden construction and changes in Yangzhou’s economy,culture and human settlements.In the first chapter,this article reviews the history of Yangzhou’s urban development from the Spring and Autumn Period to the Ming and Qing Dynasties,focusing on the urban construction process of Yangzhou in the Ming and Qing dynasties,so as to analyze the society and nature that existed in the urban development process of Yangzhou in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Factors to get a preliminary understanding of the background of urban water conservancy construction in Yangzhou.In the second chapter,the classification and layout of urban water conservancy in Yangzhou during the Ming and Qing Dynasties are explained in three parts,so as to understand the shape and location of the canal waterways,well springs,and bridges in Yangzhou City during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and analyze the distribution of these water conservancy facilities.effect.In the third chapter,the relationship between urban water conservancy and economic and cultural development in Yangzhou during the Ming and Qing Dynasties is described.After summarizing the relationship between the merchant group and the urban water conservancy in Yangzhou,it explains the development of agriculture,industry and commerce in Yangzhou during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and analyzes the relationship between water conservancy and these economies.Then it analyzes the formation of Yangzhou painting boat culture,festival customs and god worship,as well as the role of water conservancy in it.Then in the fourth chapter of this article,we analyze the changes of urban water conservancy and human settlements in Yangzhou during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.First,it analyzes the development process of Yangzhou garden construction in Ming and Qing Dynasties,as well as the permanent water-related facilities in the gardens,and then points out the role of water conservancy construction and garden construction in the change of the human settlement environment in Yangzhou during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.It also elaborated on the urban sewage facilities in Yangzhou during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and analyzed the relationship between water conservancy construction and urban sewage treatment.Finally,the relationship between urban water conservancy construction and urban prevention of floods,droughts,fires and military disasters is analyzed.By combing the relationship between urban water conservancy construction and social development in Yangzhou City during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,it can be seen that various water bodies in Yangzhou City at that time not only provided drinking water sources for residents in the city,but also provided transportation functions,even in some water conservancy facilities.With the assistance of,it can promote the economic and cultural development of Yangzhou.Today’s Yangzhou City can be said to be built on top of Yangzhou City in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and urban water conservancy is closely related to the urban development of Yangzhou City in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Therefore,studying the urban water conservancy of Yangzhou City during the Ming and Qing Dynasties will help to understand the root of Yangzhou’s current development model.
