This is a question we deserve to ponder.Some Western developed countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom have encountered similar problems.They have realized the transcendence of traditional industrial civilization,and have begun some industrial heritage transformation,re-giving new functions and making buildings more valuable.Although our country started late in this respect,there are also many very successful cases worth learning.These transformations have inspired us,so we need to properly protect and utilize our industrial heritage.Jinhua Textile Factory is one of the small industrial heritages.It made great contributions to the development of Chinese industry in the last century.It was once the largest textile factory in North China.Today,due to the reform of the economic system of the times,Jinhua Textile Factory was overwhelmed and declared bankruptcy.Jinhua Textile Factory has a history of 100 years.For people,a company that has been influencing for a hundred years has withdrawn from the historical stage in this way.There is also a lot of disappointment in the heart.However,at present,in the development of Yuci,it has no practical effect.What we have seen is only a group of dilapidated buildings,which have some bad influence on the image of the city.In the face of this reality,we must analyze its contribution,historical value,cultural value,aesthetic value,etc.,to explore more potential value,and to create a more distinctive urban memory for the development of Yuci.
