With the improvement of human living standards and development of science and technology,requirement of engine performance is getting higher and higher.As an important component of the engine,the cylinder liner's working condition can directly affect the performance of the engine.The strength and heat conduction analysis of cylinder liner under working condition has become a hot spot studied by domestic and foreign scholars.With the improvement and wide application of CAE technology,Finite Element Analysis method,an typical CAE technology,has become an essential means for developing and optimization design of engine parts.The main content of this research is to develop a professional,efficient and practical cylinder liner analysis system using the existing universal CAE analysis technology and integration platform.As a general CAE software,ANSYS has been well known by researchers and engineers.The software is powerful,but there are still some problems such as low specialization of analysis interface,unfriendly and complicated operation process,error-prone,etc,which make it not suitable for direct be used by engineers and technicians.Based on these considerations,a special cylinder liner analysis system is developed by using the Java language and APDL,a parametric design language of ANSYS secondary development technology,in order to provide a professional operation interface for cylinder liner analysis,simplify the operation process,improve the efficiency of numerical calculation and analysis of various cylinder liners.The system has a professional interface.Through convenient operation,it can automatically complete the parameterized modeling,meshing,material property selection,boundary condition application,finite element calculation and result display of different cylinder liners.As the whole analysis process runs in the background,users are able to operate easily through interface of the system without entering ANSYS software,which greatly improves the efficiency of analysis.In addition,the system includes various command stream files for analysis of different types of the cylinder liners,which is convenient to call,maintain and add at any time later.In this paper,firstly,the numerical method basis of the heat transfer and strength analysis of the cylinder liner and the experiment of the influencing factors of thecylinder are discussed.Secondly,the strength and heat conduction analysis system of cylinder liner is developed,it has a friendly visual interface,convenient operation process and simple analysis process.Even without professional knowledge,users can operate the whole analysis system easily.Finally,the reliability of the cylinder liner analysis system is verified by comparing the results of the system with Workbench results,classical theoretical results and experimental data.
