The flexible coupling is widely used in rotating machinery,which can compensate all kinds of displacement deviation and impact load.The general flexible coupling's application in some complex working conditions is limited since its ability to compensate displacement deviation is relatively simple.The research in this paper is based on a new type of flexible coupling,which consists of two kinds of flexible components and compensates for different types of loads respectively.It is necessary to analyze the static and dynamic characteristics of the coupling,due to the performance differences between the flexible elements.And it is also necessary to develop a special simulation design software considering the serial design analysis of the coupling.Therefore,this paper has done the following specific research content:Firstly,the structural characteristics and basic working conditions of the flexible coupling are introduced,and the strength analysis of the key components is carried out.The structural forms and loading characteristics of the key flexible elements of the coupling,U-shaped disk and flexible cylinder,are analyzed.According to the viscoelastic damping characteristics of rubber material and the basic theory of damping layer,the damping effect of damping ring is analyzed.The rotor dynamics related theory is also introduced to provide the analysis basis for the subsequent research.Secondly,the parametric models of the key flexible elements,such as U-disk,flexible cylinder and damping ring,are established respectively,and the finite element simulation analysis process is designed.In order to realize the parametric structure design and analysis of the flexible coupling,a special simulation design software is designed for the new type of flexible coupling.Take Pro/E 3D modeling software and ANSYS finite element analysis software as the platform to develop the coupling simulation design and analysis software.The software can realize the static analysis of U-shaped disk,flexible cylinder,modal analysis of damping ring,and mechanical performance analysis of shaft system structure of coupling.The software simplifies the process of coupling simulation design and improves the efficiency and accuracy of simulation.Finally,the developed simulation analysis software is used to analyze the static and dynamic mechanical properties of flexible components under different load conditions,and the influence of size parameters and material parameters on their respective mechanical properties is also obtained.Explore the influence of the dimensional parameters on the damping effect of the damping ring by simulating and analyzing the modal and vibration modes of the flexible cylinder and the assembly at different speeds.The dynamic characteristics of coupling shafting are analyzed by simulation and the actual working speed is checked according to its critical speed.Considering the difference of the response of the flexible element to various loads and the ability of deviation compensation,the static matching analysis of the whole coupling is carried out,and the stress of the two flexible elements under different loads is obtained.The stress conditions of two kinds of flexible elements under different loading conditions are obtained,and the structural optimization suggestions are put forward according to the principle of equal stress design.
