| In recent years,with the transformation of our national economy and the rise of the tertiary industry,all levels of government have been increasingly paying more attention to the development of tourism.Rural tourism,as an entertainment that returns people to nature,has become very popular among the public.The government has also issued a series of policy and guidance documents to promote investment in tourism and consumption,which provides new opportunities and strong support for the growth of the rural lodging industry in China.The rural lodging business has been developing for many years in Taiwan and foreign countries and related regulations and rules and academic studies have already been fully developed.However,theoretical studies about rural lodging in Mainland China are still lacking and there is a wide spread neglect of the important role of local culture,which has caused many problems,even though currently the business has been developing vigorously in China.Therefore,this thesis will focus on the design of rural lodgings from the perspective of regional culture.It firstly introduces the concepts of regional culture and rural lodging,generalizes the relation between the two and based on this,raises some problems existing in the development of rural lodgings.Secondly,it comprehensively analyzes typical country homestay examples in China and abroad,from which learns about and summarizes the scientifical advanced design methods and theories by using many methods including example analysis method,comparative analysis method and literature research.Lastly,based on the aforementioned theories and experience acquired,it attempts to develop an innovative path for rural lodging design based on the preservation and development of local environment,the diversified development of the local cultural industry,the organic integration of local techniques and rural lodging,the analysis,extraction and reconstruction of local cultural symbols.Moreover,the study will be verified by applying the result to rural lodging projects.It is hoped that this study can provide help for the healthy development of domestic rural lodging business and also references for subsequent researchers and constructors.By putting traditional culture in its due position,full efforts should be made to build rural lodgings with local characteristics and achieve the harmony and unification between rural tourism and regional culture. |
