Since China has entered the aging society,it has gradually become a major factor affecting the livelihood of our society.Hence,the development of elderly care services institutions has become an important way to solve the aging problem in China.In addition,with the steady development of the national economy,elderly people have ever-rising demands on quality of life.As one important part of building environemtn,the thermal environment of the elderly care services institutions has become an important factor affecting the elderly's daily life.This study investigates the thermal comfort of the elderly in the elderly care services institutions,and identifies the special thermal comfort requirements of the senior residents of the elderly care services institutions in Hefei.Wireless sensor networks system was installed in elderly care services institutions in order to collect thermal environmental data in real time.Both site measurements and a questionnaire survey was adopted.Totally,87 questionnaires were collected from senior residents.In order to explore the local thermal environment and weather conditions in Hefei and their impact on thermal comfort of the elderly,WSN system was adopted to collect the indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity of the elderly care services institution.Through the analysis of questionnaires and environmental parameters,the thermal comfort temperature range and neutral temperature of the elderly in Hefei's old-age care institutions were obtained and brought into the BIM model for model analysis.The main conclusions of this paper through research and simulation analysis are as follows:(1)In the winter of Hefei,most people will feel that the thermal environment is not good,and far exceeds the human body's thermal comfort range in the state of sitting still;(2)Through the study,we found that the average formula for the average vote and temperature of the measured thermal comfort of the elderly: bedroom MTS=-1.68+0.08 ta,R2=0.415;bathroom,MTS=-1.37+0.07 ta,R2=0.488.The thermal comfort neutral temperature of the elderly in the bedroom of the old-age care institution is 21 °C,and the thermal comfort neutral temperature of the bathroom is 19.5 °C.In addition,the elderly in the old-age care facility can comfortably accept a temperature range of 21 to 24.66 ? for the bedroom and 19.5 to 22 ? for the bathroom.(3)In the model of the thermal environment,we found that the bedroom of the old-age care institution was uncomfortable and cold more than 80% of the time in the winter.Through simulations,the second floor is more suitable for the elderly than the first floor..(4)Through the strategy analysis of the dampness map,we found that a certain old-age care institution in Hefei can optimize the thermal comfort zone through different active and passive measures.The influence of passive solar heating and high heat capacity materials on the thermal comfort space is better.Big.Through the analysis of the thermal environment of the elderly care services institutions in Hefei and the simulation of the building model of the elderly care services institutions,we studied the real-time thermal environment parameters of Hefei,the acceptable temperature range of the elderly in winter and the visual thermal comfort of a pension institution in Hefei City.The data and research results of this paper provide reference for the related research of Hefei City's old-age care institutions,and also add a color to the related research of domestic pension institutions.
