Study On The Formation And Design Aesthetics Of Embankments And Islands On The West Lake In Hangzhou

Embankments and islands on the West Lake in Hangzhou has a high evaluation in China since ancient times.As an important part of the world cultural heritage —— the West Lake in Hangzhou,the formation of embankments and islands on the West Lake in Hangzhou has accumulated the efforts and wisdom of the people of the past.This paper takes embankments and islands on the West Lake in Hangzhou as the research object,clarifies the potential research space by means of the archaeological and historical literatures of historical records,documents,books and other ancient literatures.Furthermore,in the history of the earliest formation of the West Lake being the inland lakes in Hangzhou —— the Eastern Han Dynasty to the time of the founding of the People's Republic of China as a vertical timeline,systematically sorts out the historical form performance,then use the regional communication performance in the history of embankments and islands on the lake as a horizontal space axis,complements the historical form of embankments and islands on the lake.On this basis,analyzes the objective image of the history of embankments and islands on the lake,namely natural landscape,production space and human settlements,as well as imagery,including Seal and stone carving,literary creation,celebrity charm and garden conception.Then discriminates the representation of the artistic form under the intertwined role of objective image and imagery,in this way deeply explores the internal formation mechanism and the ontology of its aesthetic design conception,and re-examines the inheritance of embankments and islands on the lake.This paper puts forward that the historical form of embankments and islands on the West Lake in Hangzhou has evolved from one embankment and one island to three embankments and four islands.The layout has evolved from outer ring to centripetal,and design has gradually changed from natural to utilitarian,gradually standardized,as the same time humanized performance is increasingly prominent,the overall shape gradually moved westward,its shape is more prominent in history,even has a profound impact on northern China,North Korea,Japan and other regions.Simultaneously,emphasizes that the design aesthetic conception of embankments and islands on the lake is based on the objective expression of the object image,the ideology of the imagery,and the internal mechanism of the expression of the artistic form,as well as the unique experience and participation of embankments and islands on the lake,through the way of connection virtual and reality,transformation into image,and imagination to achieve,is a collective unconscious reaction.And the experience and participation has played an important role in promoting.Finally,I will try to explore the historical inheritance performance of embankments and islands on the lake in the present.It is argued that the historical inheritance of the living environment and imagery of embankments and islands on the lake has never been interrupted.The prominent historical layer has laid a good foundation for the development of embankments and islands on the lake in the new era;the new opportunities given by the new era,the inter-regional culture blends,the contemporary interpretation and expression of the imagery,and the effective protection of the human settlements on embankments and islands on the lake,which also provides a new era of development.Therefore,embankments and islands on the West Lake in Hangzhou can still inherit and develop in the new era.This paper attempts to explain the performance and formation mechanism of the design aesthetics conception of embankments and islands on the lake and its manifestation under the change of the times.
