Research On Spatial Morphology Of Small Towns In Changbai Mountains Based On Spatial Syntax

Some opinions on promoting the construction of small towns has been put forward in the 19 th National Congress of the CPC,becoming the consensus of all sectors of society.Under the new requirements of territorial space planning,the further study of the spatial form of small towns in Changbai Mountains has a guiding role for the spatial planning of northeast China.Through the quantitative research of small towns spatial form in Changbai Mountains,Jilin province,this thesis analyzes the morphological differentiation development characteristics of towns in Changbai sub-region,and selects some typical small towns to further analyze emphatically.At the same time,the traditional method of mathematical statistics is used to accurately measure the external spatial form in towns of this region.And the general analysis has been done combined with the factors such as the land layout,population,economy,and industrial development.Then it uses the means of space syntax to do the specific quantitative analysis on space for its internal functional site.Eventually,the principles of sustainable construction model building are puts forward,using fewer new construction land index to support new space for growth,plan the construction land,make clear the situation of high-efficiency use area,low-efficiency use area and idle land to make sure the idle land be used as soon as possible,and low-efficiency land be used in a concentrated and efficient way.Combined with the ecological characteristics of Changbai Mountains,we should pay attention to the guiding role of ecological planning to build a sustainable ecological safety pattern and control the the land development intensity in small towns.Furthermore,strategies for the ecologicalspace,protected space,the development of spatial linkage control can be formulated.And finally relevant guidesit should be put forward for promoting the space planning and design of small towns in Changbai Mountains.Small towns in Changbai Mountains are representative in northeast China.Compared with traditional methods,the advantages of space syntax can be more empahsized in urban space quantitative research.This study uses the spatial syntax theory to do quantitative analysis of the spatial form of towns,digging into the characteristics of the space,creating a sustainable development of small towns to improve the land use efficiency of the towns,such as Antu,Longjing and Tumen,from space planning.Furthermore,it can dynamically adjuste the prospective development of small town through the space form control and optimize the spatial structure.It is of great mirror and reference to the ecological environment and urban construction of the eastern part of Jilin province and even the whole northeast region.
