Study On The Characteristics Of The Public Space In The Small Tourist Towns Of Chengdu Based On Space Syntax

Based on the two major backgrounds of "national tourism demonstration area" and "characteristic towns",Chengdu,the largest tourist demonstration area in Sichuan Province,has played an important role in the development of the national tourism demonstration area,at the same time,the development of its small tourist towns will also face new opportunities and challenges.With the rapid development of tourism in Chengdu's tourism small towns in recent years,the protection of Humanities and natural resources and business development have been increasingly valued.However,the construction of public space has been neglected.At the same time,with the rapid expansion of the scale of tourist towns,the problem of overcapacity of passenger volume is prominent.As a place to continue the cultural context,carry social activities and display the image of the city,the carrying capacity of urban public space is faced with a huge test.By studying the relationship between public space and urban spatial fabric,this paper explores the law of people's flow in it,summarizes the form and function characteristics of public tourism in Chengdu tourism towns,and puts forward the optimization principles and Strategies of public space.With these strategies,we can guide the healthy development of public space in Chengdu tourism towns,and provide a new idea for the transformation and planning of public space in Chengdu tourism towns.The paper is divided into the following six chapters:Chapter 1: This chapter describes the research background,purpose,significance,research contents,methods,innovation and research framework.At the same time,it introduces the theory and practice of the construction of small tourist towns and their public space at home and abroad.Chapter 2: This chapter introduces the relevant basic research in this paper.First,this section introduces the concept and classification of tourism small towns and public spaces,and initially determines the classification standard of tourist towns and public spaces in Chengdu.Then,it defines the elements and related indexes of the public space in Chengdu tourism type small towns.Finally,it expounds the basis of the spatial syntax theory,the method of analysis and the feasibility of the research on the characteristics of the public space in the small tourist towns in Chengdu.Chapter 3: This chapter introduces the basic research on the public space of the small tourist towns in Chengdu.First of all,the author determines the sample and method of investigation in this paper.Then,this section preliminarily grasps the general situation of the small tourist towns in Chengdu and the basic survey of the research samples.Finally,on the basis of the research on the present situation of sample towns,this section carries out a basic investigation on the status of its public space.At the same time,the present situation and problems of the public space in the small tourist towns in Chengdu are summarized.Chapter 4: This chapter is the core study of the characteristics of the public space in the small tourist towns of Chengdu based on space syntax.First,the space syntactic model is constructed according to the research method in this paper.Then,the spatial syntactic correlation analysis of the spatial distribution,functional layout,traffic organization and flow dynamics of the public space in Chengdu tourism type small towns is carried out in this paper with the help of spatial syntax related parameters,thus the characteristics and problems of the public space are obtained,and the causes of the characteristics and problems are analyzed.Chapter 5:This chapter aims at the characteristics and problems of public space obtained by the basic research and the core research in the first four chapters,and puts forward the corresponding optimization strategies.Chapter 6:This chapter makes a comprehensive summary of the whole paper,and points out the shortcomings and prospects of this article.
