Study On The Cultivation Of EPC Project Manager In HL Company

At present,the study of EPC management model focuses on risk management,excessive attention to risk control and management in the process of project implementation,and there is no in-depth discussion of human factors.But people-oriented is the foundation of the core resource value system of the general contracting enterprise.As the manager of the whole project,the cultivation and promotion of EPC project manager’s ability and quality is very important to the implementation of the project.This paper is based on the competency model,EPC project management process as the main line,it analyses from the different stages of EPC project management and the management stage dimension analysis of the different stages of competency dimension manager training model.Firstly,this paper analyzes and summarizes the competence of EPC project managers by means of literature review and interviews,and determines the factors influencing the competency of EPC project managers;then,through understanding the general situation of HL company,the situation of EPC project managers and the training status to finds out the competency gap of EPC project managers in HL company;and according to the competency model of EPC project managers.This paper analyzes the training needs of EPC project managers in HL company,constructs the training system of EPC project managers in HL company which based on the competency model,and then analyzes the factors of EPC project managers’ competency by using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)to identifies the key factors affecting the competency of EPC project managers,and constructs a hierarchy-based training system.The evaluation system of EPC project manager based on analytic hierarchy process(AHP)which is constructed to evaluate and analyze the ability and quality of EPC project manager.The effect of the training system of EPC project manager based on competency model to feedback and illustrated,which provides reference and theoretical basis for HL EPC project manager’s personnel training and safeguard measures.
