With the continuous development and improvement of Chinese train control system,moving block technology based on satellite positioning has become the future development direction.In China,Incremental Train Control System(ITCS)of Qinghai-Tibet Railway is the only one applying train control system based satellite positioning so far.The ITCS has the advantages of simple interface,less trackside equipment and low maintenance cost.However,due to the method limitations of the train positioning and integrity monitoring of the ITCS,it is difficult for the ITCS to realize the moving block function.In view of the above problems,this paper proposes an optimization method to improve the insufficiency for ITCS,which includes positioning and integrity monitoring of the train.Correspondingly,a moving block model is established.The "hit hard wall"moving block scheme is selected through comparing the scheme and calculating the tracking efficiency.In order to verify the correctness of the scheme,SIMULINK is used to build the simulation model,simulate the operation scenario and safety protection function.The simulation results prove that the ITCS-based "hit hard wall" moving block model can availably improve the train tracking efficiency,which shortens the tracking interval of the train by 19%at high speed,with certain fault protection function guaranteed.The main contents are as follows:(1)The system structure and functions of ITCS of Qinghai-Tibet Railway are analyzed.This paper mainly analyzes operation scenarios and fault protection functions of ITCS system in virtual block mode,proposed the optimization methods of train positioning mode and integrity monitoring mode.(2)According to the literature,selecting vehicle parameters,establishing the simulation model of virtual block mode and moving block mode by MATLAB,to calculate the tracking efficiency and tracking interval.With the comparative analysis of the model and the safety protection principle of the moving block mode,the scheme selection of the "hit hard wall" moving block mode is completed.(3)Analyzing operation scenario under normal conditions,with the train tracking model of the "hit hard wall" moving block mode built by SIMULINK.The fault condition is considered and injected into the model.Finally,the method of safety protection in case of system failure is studied,and the result is analyzed through simulation.
