Rail shunting operation is a highly technical and complex operation,which requires a lot of manpower and energy.At present,shunting operation signal status mainly depends on manual confirmation by drivers or shunters and shunting accidents are often occurred,such as "rush,squeeze,take-off".Now,shunting monitoring equipment has many shortcomings,such as many interfaces,low degree of intelligence,cumbersome operation process and so on.GPS positioning technology has the advantages of all-weather,high accuracy and easy to use.The application of GPS positioning technology is beneficial to reducing system interface,improving locomotive positioning accuracy and making the system more intelligent in safety protection system for rail shunting operation.The main work of this thesis includes the following points:(1)A new locomotive map matching algorithm based on GPS is proposed,naming as position jump matching algorithm.The occupancy of locomotive track is identified by Bayesian estimation method.The identification and renewal of locomotive position in station are achieved by Kalman filter data fusion algorithm.The scene of running is designed and the algorithm simulation experiment is carried out to verify the feasibility of the algorithm.(2)By analyzing the data and function requirements of safety protection system for rail shunting operation;the communication scheme between locomotive and ground and safety protection for rail shunting operation scheme are designed;The design of overall structure and hardware structure of the system are completed.The implementation of system software module is designed in detail,including GPS data analysis and processing module,database module,locomotive speed protection module and display control module,in order to prepare for the software realization of safety protection system for rail shunting operation.(3)The programming of modules in safety protection system for rail shunting operation is completed by using C#.The GPS data analysis module is used to complete the analysis and processing of GPS data.The station database is used to digitalize station lines.The locomotive speed protection module is used to complete the calculation of speed protection curve.The historical database module is used to accomplish the storage capabilities of locomotive speed,location and other information.(4)The programming development of on-board interface is completed by using C#and SQL Servers database.The on-board interface can achieve the display of shunting operation sheet,locomotive working condition,signal equipment position and status,and update locomotive position dynamically.Using C#and ArcGIS Engine secondary development library,the development of macro-map display interface of train is completed.The capabilities of map operation and real-time train monitoring is realized by this interface.In this paper,the safety protection system for rail shunting operation is designed to complete the shunting locomotive protection function by using the GPS positioning technology.The system adds shunting operation sheet display function,simplifies shunting operation process,reduces external equipment interface,and has certain reference significance for the design of new shunting locomotive signal and protection system.
