ABSTRACT:For complex road and more parallel approach of Shunting Protection System of EMU Depot, when they operate at a low speed to prevent the train aggressive signal, we need develop a low-cost, no impact on existing equipment, ease of maintenance, shunting safe protection system to improve EMU shunting operations security.Shunting protection system includes fixed-balise, unfixed-balise, C-LEU and other major equipments. Compact-Linside Electronic Unit installed near the sidings signal equipment to provide a variable telegram for unfixed balise. This LEU can collect trackside signal lights information, select a pre-stored telegram and send to balise based on this information.When train goes through the balise, ground balise send the EMU approach road driving permit or prohibit segment information to balise transponder unit BTM. BTM send the information to the train protection equipment ATP, ATP control speed of the train according to this information.This paper combine with the actual needs of the site, study the design and implementation of C-LEU, The main work of this thesis is as follows:1. On the basis of analyzing structural principle of Shunting Protection System and describing the functions and application scenarios, it proposed the C-LEU program-analysis of the function and performance requirements of C-LEU and clear various functions and performance indicators, analysis of System interface and clear the various interface functions, parameters, performance indicators. Analyze interface for C-LEU, Finally, analyze the security features of C-LEU system.2. Propose C-LEU overall design, working principle and structure, give a clear position and function of each board in the slot as well as the various boards and external connectivity. Analyze C-LEU system function, including top-level function and system failure. Give a clear answer of the various failure modes and causes of failure combination of C-LEU system and its potential consequences. Propose a program to improve the security of the system.3. Do further research of C-LEU boards. Analyze the various functions of C-LEU board systems and give the key technical parameters in-depth. Design the software of balise driver board to achieve its function. Proposing using four independent parts of the circuit and completing the final output of a telegram in the design process to ensure a correct telegram. Then designing the hardware of transponder driver board according to its module division, PCB layout and board level. Finally, achieve all the functions which the transponder driver board needed.4. Complete the core component of C-LEU systems-balise driver board debugging, and give necessary instructions for critical step. Analyze debugging results and prove to verify the correctness of the results.
