Many companies hope to learn from each other through ruergers and acquisitions and achieve the synergy effect However,as far as the current situation is concerned, only a few companies have achieved the expected goals and achieved synergies.Whether the synergy effect of mergers and acquisitions can be realized is affected by many factors, and cultural integration plays an important role. The cultural integration can alleviate the cultural conflict caused by cultural differences and smoothly promote mergers and acquisitions.By providing scientific operational support, employees will be more willing to cooperate to achieve business synergies;with a sound incentive mechanism, employees will be more proactive in their own work, improve management efficiency and help achieve manage synergies;by strengthening the cohesiveness of the company, all employees of the company will unite and enhance the performance of all aspects of the enterprise, which will eventually bring financial synergies. In view of the fact that there is a certain gap between the culture of the two parties at the national and enterprise levels, the enterprise needs to analyze the cultural differences.Different levels of cultural differences have their own characteristics, and enterprises need to integrate step by step and hierarchically. This paper explores the relationship between cultural integration and the synergy effect of mergers and acquisitions and elaborates the specific integration path from the four cultural levels of material, behavior, system and spirit. This paper comprehensively evaluates the results of mergers and acquisitions by combining the three aspects of Haier's acquisition of Sanyo. And the conclusion is that cultural integration is conducive to the realization of the synergy effect of mergers and acquisitions.I hope that it can provide reference for the cross-border M&A activities of Chinese enterprises.
