With the deepening of globalization,cross-border mergers and acquisitions is still an effective means for many enterprises to open up overseas markets, because of the temporary shrinkage of domestic growth space. While China has stepped up scrutiny of overseas acquisitions in other sectors, such as the tightening of overseas mergers and acquisitions in areas such as culture, entertainment and real estate, there is no restraint on the expansion of auto companies. But owing the large cultural differences with foreign enterprises,it is much more difficult for Chinese automobile enterprises in the process of cultural integration of overseas mergers and acquisitions to achieve a successful cultural integration of the merger and acquisition enterprises. Therefore, this paper constructs a multi-stage dynamic choice mode of Chinese auto enterprises ’ cross-border merger and acquisition, and verifies the dynamic model constructed in this paper with the contrast analysis of the case.Through analyzing the establishment of the theoretical model analysis, the conclusions are as follow:Generally speaking, the choice of the integration mode of Chinese enterprises can be carried out gradually in a phased way along the path of autonomous mode, learning mode, assimilation mode and innovation mode. But for the cultural integration of Chinese automobile industry,it should adopt the autonomous mode → learning mode → the path of innovation mode. Finally, the limitations of this study still exist. The main conclusion is the universality of the problem, although this article from the successful case of Geely merger and the failure of SAIC merger in two aspects of the summary, verified that the success of the case is indeed the use of an effective general model. But whether the conclusion is applicable to the cultural integration of other Chinese automobile companies ’ cross-border mergers and acquisitions, which still needs further verification of practical cases. |
