In order to reduce the energy consumption of the belt conveyor,the theoretical analysis,numerical simulation and experimental testing are combined to analyze the running resistance of the conveyor,which is specifically divided into the following research contents:Firstly,the mechanism of various running resistances of the conveyor is studied to determine the three-parameter solid model as the calculation model of the conveyor belt.At the same time,the force on each idler of the idler group is obtained based on the Lange theory and the energy consumption theory,and then deduced.The mathematical model of the sag resistance,the rotation resistance moment and the squeezing resistance between the materials of the grooved roller group.Secondly,numerical simulations are performed on the mathematical model of the slotted roller group's indentation resistance and the mathematical model of the slotted roller group's rotating resistance moment to find out the influence of the transport volume,speed,groove angle,and the radius of the roller on the sag resistance.The influence of the transport volume,speed,and groove angle on the rotation resistance moment of the idler group was analyzed,and the curve of the relationship between each variable and the resistance was obtained.Finally,the sag resistance test stand and the roller rotation resistance test rig are designed to experimentally test the influence of various factors on the resistance.The test data curve is compared with the simulated curve to verify the accuracy of the derivation of the mathematical model.The results of this study show that the groove angle of the grooved roller set is preferably set to float up and down.At this time,the indentation resistance and the rotation resistance torque of the idler are within the minimum range.The indentation resistance increases with the increase of positive pressure,decreases with the increase of the radius of the support roller,and increases with the increase of the belt speed.The rotational resistance torque of the roller group increases with the increase of the transport volume and increases with the increase of the rotational speed.These changes provide a reference for the optimal design of belt conveyors.The appropriate idler radius,groove angle and belt speed can be selected according to different transport volumes to achieve energy-saving optimization.
