Rubber belt conveyor is one of the main equipment for continuous transportation in mechanical transmission with its extensive application. However,it also generally exists some problems which affects the operating life, equipment working efficiency and even results in potential safety problems, such as leather belt running deviation,which will lead to accelerating fret and even the whole belt breaks. So how to solve the problem of running deviation so as to make rubber belt conveyor run efficiently and safely is very important. This thesis is to study on phenomena of the rubber belt conveyor running deviation during operation.The phenomena, reason and consequences of rubber belt conveyor running deviation are first briefly analyzed in this article, and then technical performances differences in rubber belt conveyor home and abroad are analyzed and compared. The reason of rubber belt conveyor running deviation comparison is analyzed in various angles. The reasons for running deviation are various, but the fundamental reason is the belt uneven tension between driving and tensioner rollers, which causes uneven pressures on roller both sides. According to the running deviation, some methods and measures have been improved in this article. Eventually, it is analyzed respectively from a small rubber belt conveyor and a large rubber belt conveyor so as to rectify deviation. The small rubber belt conveyor, with its low carrying capacity and small transportation range, is easy to rectify deviation from mechanical analysis. For example, when designing roller of drum type, a certain automatic centration to belt is to keep from roller. The following slope baffle on both sides of roller will cause obvious centration force to belt. These methods can effectively prevent the small rubber belt conveyor running deviation.However, the large rubber belt conveyor, with its high carrying capacity and large transportation range, is relatively difficulty and complex to rectify deviation,which is mainly on the way of electronic rectification. A frequency conversion motor has been installated on one side of driving roller to change control motor speed and driving drum speed so as to achieve the purpose of automatic rectification. It is easier to prevent belt running deviation and increase working efficiencies of rubber belt conveyor as well as guarantee the safe operation of the rubber belt conveyor through these methods.
