Research On The Application Of Five Senses Landscape In Children's Recreation Space

With the continuous growth of China's children population,children's demand for recreation space is increasing day by day.But at the same time,the commercialization and simplification of children's recreation space are also becoming more and more prominent.In the context of the experience economy,the combination of five-sense landscape and children's recreation space is of great significance to children's better perception and understanding of the outside world,and also provides design ideas for the construction of recreation space more in line with the needs of the times and children.This article,firstly,consulted a large number of literature and took the five senses and the particularity of children's senses as a starting point to analyze children's sensory characteristics of different ages,which includes the preschool age(3-6 years old),the early school age(6-11),and the juvenile period(11-14).Children's behavior and psychological characteristics are discussed based on children's behavioral psychology,environmental psychology and other theories.At the same time,the preferences and demands of children and parents of different age groups for the five senses landscape were investigated through questionnaire which provides the basis of the design strategy of children's recreation space.Secondly,the application strategy of the five senses landscape in the game facilities and landscape elements of children's recreation space is formulated based on the analysis of the theories mentioned above and the results of the questionnaire as well as the learning and reference of relevant excellent cases at home and abroadFinally,the author conducted a field survey on the application status and game facilities of the five senses landscape in children's recreation space in Zhengzhou,and analyzed and summarized the existing characteristics and problems.Zhengzhou city children's parks have been chosen for the landscape redesign.The application strategies are combined with the scheme design to provide reference for solving the current children's space problems and the application of the five senses landscape.This paper aims to bring new perspective and rich the design elements in children's recreation space through the research on five-sense landscape and children's recreation space,and to create a humanized children's recreation space that integratedwith senses,interaction and science.
