| In recent years,China’s aviation industry has continued to develop rapidly.It’s obvious that the airport has significant effects on the economic and social benefits of the region.Although Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport is an important aviation hub in the central and western China,which opens a window to the outside world for Chengdu and even Sichuan Province,it is also facing some bottlenecks while rapidly developing.Therefore,considering the plan of Rebuilding the New Economic Geography of Sichuan and the new airport has not been built yet,aiming at breaking through bottlenecks and bringing up the best economic benefits and helping Chengdu to build an international comprehensive transportation hub,it is urgent to analyze the current problem of the airport,discuss the coupling types and characteristics,evaluate the coupling coordination degree and regularity of the airport and the regional development.This paper used empirical analysis,case analysis and scientific measurement to study Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport and its economic and social effect on regional development,including delimiting the radiation area,discussing the coupling type and characteristics,evaluating the of coupling degree and coupling coordination degree.For data processing,descriptive statistical analysis,factor analysis,gravity model were used to delimit the radiation area of the airport.Granger test,VAR model and impulse response function were used to discuss the coupling types and characteristics.Coupling coordination model are used to evaluate the coupling degree,coupling coordination degree and spatial-temporal change of the coupling coordination level.At last,this paper explored the synergy development strategy of the airport and regional development in current situation.The findings were as following:First,The radiation area of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport is far beyond the administrative area of Chengdu City,which was about 405,000 km~2,accounting for 83%of the total area of Sichuan Province.Second,the airport and the regional development had obvious coupling effect,and the coupling type was regional development lag.It was not obvious and gradually weakened to drive effect of the regional development of Sichuan Province on the promotion of Shuangliu International Airport.Third,from 1998 to 2017,the coupling degree of the airport and the regional development were high coupling.On these basis,it rose to benignant coupling in 2018,which went up highest degree.The coupling coordination degree had experienced six levels,including moderate dislocation,mild dislocation,endangered,intermediate coordination,good coordination and quality coordination.Forth,the cities of Sichuan Province with lower coupling coordination level in the past 10 years were mostly concentrated in the northeast of Sichuan,while the most rapidly rising of coupling coordination level were mainly in the south,west,Panxi areas and along the line of Cheng-Mian-Le of Sichuan.Besides,southern cities of Sichuan always had a higher coupling coordination level in the same period.Chengdu and Panzhihua were basically ranked the top 2 in the past 10 years.At last,considering the current bottlenecks problems of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport,the coordinated development strategy was proposed for the airport and the regional development of Sichuan Province.Those conclusions improved the operation and management standard of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport,completed relevant supporting implementation,optimized the industrial arrangement of the airport economic zone,contributed to promote a better coordinate development of Sichuan Province and Shuangliu International Airport. |
