Research On The Construction Of Baiyun International Airport Hub Considering The New Airport

With the high speed development of civil aviation transportation industry in our country,the construction of the hub airport present a rapid development momentum.In recent years,Guangzhou baiyun airport restricted by limitation of airspace and its own capacity,pressure of transportation is also increasing under the growth demand around Pearl River Delta region.In order to alleviate the transportation pressures well as consolidate the hub position of baiyun international airport,it is a need to promote the construction of the muliti-airport system in Guangzhou eagerly.This paper first analysis the present situation of the baiyun airport and the coupling coordination between regional economic and social development and the airport system to research the necessity of construction muliti-airport system in Guangzhou by the accessing of new airport.The new airport can not only help to relief the congestion and flight delays in baiyun airport which caused by capacity limits,and can also be able to promote the rapid development of regional economy.Second,by using the game theory research and analysis the possibility of baiyun airport and the new airport cooperation mechanism,and the needed conditions that can reach cooperation.Suggestions are presented by considering the coordination of airport and airspace resources,the base and capacity allocation by airlines,and integrated transportation operation within the two airports.Finally,network optimization model of Pearl River Delta region is improved by taking the new airport into account,the optimized international and domestic routes and traffic of baiyun airport are analyzed respectively the access of the new airport can not only divert the baiyun airport traffic,but enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of baiyun airport as well.This paper also puts forward reasonable Suggestions to strengthen the international hub status of baiyun airport from the aspects of improving airport expansion,cooperation between air base and airport,and optimization of flight time resources.
