At present,China's economy is developing rapidly,and more and more funds are invested in urban construction.The number and scale of municipal projects are increasing rapidly.The municipal road project was mainly designated by the government and has now developed into an industry.Controlling the cost of municipal engineering projects is of great significance for increasing profits and winning the market,but the funds invested in municipal engineering construction are still relatively scarce and limited.Therefore,how to manage and control the cost of municipal engineering projects and realize project management Maximizing benefits is the main line of construction enterprise management.This paper selects Y company C project as the research object,through consulting a large number of relevant literature,using case analysis method and comparative analysis method,the project has been studied and analyzed.Firstly,it conducts literature research on the idea,content and method of project cost control,and then introduces the theoretical basis of project cost control related to cost control related theory and project construction cost control method.In the analysis of the current situation of the case,this paper first introduces the C project and the company,then introduces the current situation of C project cost control from the aspects of C project cost composition,cost control organization system,cost control process and cost control method.The problems in the cost control of the project are mainly the ineffective control of cost and schedule,the inconsistency of cost planning,the ambiguity of cost control responsibility and the over-expenditure of personnel costs.The reason for the problem lies in the weak project cost control concept,the imperfect organizational system and the unscientific cost control method.According to the problems existing in the construction cost control of the C project,suggestions for improvement are proposed: improve the cost planning,including the WBS method to divide the cost plan and clarify the target cost control responsibility;improve the construction process cost control method,and use the earned value method on the basis of WBS.Control project cost and schedule;optimize the control of key cost elements,mainly material,labor and machinery.Finally,the safeguard measures for the improvement of construction cost control of C project are put forward.Based on the theory and method of cost control,this paper starts with the current situation of cost control of C project,finds out the problems and causes of project cost control,and then puts forward the improvement plan and related safeguard measures for the cost control of C project.The innovation of this paper lies in being able to perfect the current cost control method and system according to the actual situation of C project,which has certain practical significance and practical value.
