Mongolia has a relatively harsh environment and and difficult transportation.Railway transportation plays an important role in Mongolian's foreign trade and its economic development.In recent years,the mining industry has developed rapidly in Mongolia and the freight turnover between Mongolia and neighboring countries has increased rapidly.In 2013,Mongolia carried more rail freight than other developing countries due to cross-border trade with neighboring countries,most of which was transported by high-speed rail.The freight volume of Mongolia accounts for 72% and the passenger volume accounts for 28% in railway transportation.Freight volume in 2017 has hit a record high of 22.8 million tons.According to the development of Ulaanbaatar Railway Corporation,the railway freight volume will increase to 53.58 million tons from 2020 to 2030.Therefore,Mongolia's railway system needs to be expanded and the railway operation organization needs to be optimized.In June 2010,the great horal conference of Mongolia adopted the "national railway policy document".The conference made plans for the construction of railway infrastructure and the phased track upgrading,and it was planned to start studying the adjustment and optimization of train operation plans.The train operation organization improvement of railway is an important measure to improve the passing capacity of Mongolian railway.This paper takes Ulaanbaatar railway as the research object.The main research contents of this paper include:The first chapter reviews the domestic and foreign literature,and puts forward the research content,technical route and change ideas.The second chapter focuses on the elements of the train operation diagram and introduces the layout of the train operation diagram based on the basic information of the preparation of the train operation diagram in accordance with the basic national conditions of Mongolia.In chapter 3,the passenger and freight volume of Ulaanbaatar railway is analyzed,and the current operation situation of Ulaanbaatar railway is analyzed according to the technical index of UlanBaatar railway.According to the current situation of Ulaanbaatar railway and the increasing demand of passenger and freight volume in the next few years,the fourth chapter puts forward several methods for the operation organization optimization of Ulaanbaatar railway.First,reduce the gradient of the railway line cross-section so that the train speed can be improved.Second,the operation time of the train in the station can be improved by improving the passing signal and adopting the new block method,so as to improve the passing ability of the section.Third,it is suggested to construct new lines on the road sections with large passenger and cargo transportation needs because the existing railways cannot meet the transportation needs.Forth,Increase the average load of the train.That is to increase the traction of the locomotive,replaced by a greater traction of the locomotive,so that the train loads of goods to increase the capacity.Finally,through the benefit accounting of the four optimization methods respectively,it can be seen that the four ways for the operation organization of the Ulaanbaatar railway can get direct economic benefits.Among them,the fourth is the most significant for the improvement of the rail transit capacity of Ulaanbaatar.This paper studies the operation organization optimization of Ulaanbaatar railway.The operational organization optimization methods of Ulaanbaatar railway proposed in this paper are all based on the specific operating conditions of Ulaanbaatar railway at the present stage.Although they have limitations,the optimization methods proposed in this paper are of certain practicability and have good guiding significance for the operation organization optimization of Ulaanbaatar railway.
