Urban roads,as an important part of urban transportation, are an important starting point for boosting the economic development of the cities and guaranteeing the people's livelihood and success. How to build urban road networks in a better and faster manner is also a major challenge in the construction of cities.Due to the complexity of construction technology, difficulty in construction, long construction period, large capital investment, large number of participating units, and special location of the project,it is difficult to avoid the existence of a large number of uncertainties. Therefore, urban road project management The use of relevant theories of risk management is of great significance.Scientific analysis of possible risks in advance and finding out appropriate management response methods can effectively avoid and reduce the losses caused by project risks.Make the project smoothly completed as planned. The results of the study on the risk management of urban road engineering projects are as follows:(1)First analyze the characteristics of urban road projects and find that urban road projects are characterized by variability, objectivity, and diversity. Then, the methods of risk identification of common engineering projects were studied in combination with urban road projects, including brainstorming and Delphi.(2)Several methods commonly used in urban road project risk assessment are introduced.Including Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)and Monte Carlo's stochastic simulation method, and then studied the advantages and disadvantages of various risk assessment methods, and found that the most suitable risk assessment method for urban road engineering projects is Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP),and finally AHP.The implementation process is described in detail.(3)Based on the risk identification, analysis and evaluation, five types of risk response methods commonly used in risk response of urban road engineering projects are studied, mainly including risk prevention, risk transfer, risk aversion, risk reduction, and analysis retention. Then it introduced in detail the various risk response methods and the main measures to achieve.(4)Based on the theoretical study, the risk management of a city road construction project in Lanzhou City was studied.First of all,it introduces the project location, scale and other project construction of a city road construction project in Lanzhou City, and then uses the theoretical knowledge of risk identification to study the project's existing risks. The project risk is divided into preparation phase, construction phase and operation phase,a total of 14 more common risks.Through the use of the analytic hierarchy process to assess the identified risks and calculate the weight values of different risks, the study found that the three largest risks in the project are security risk, quality risk, and land acquisition risk. Finally,on the basis of risk identification and risk assessment results, targeted countermeasures are proposed for each stage of risk.
