The railway plays a key role in China's comprehensive transportation system and is a vital transportation infrastructure,playing an irreplaceable role in economic and social development.Whether it is the ancient "The Silk Road" or today's "The Belt and Road",it fully reflects the close relationship between transportation and economic development.Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is located in the frontier of our country,bordering Mongolia and Russia to the north,with frequent cross-border trade exchanges,and close economic exchanges with Northeast and Northwest regions.It is also the radiation area for the coordinated development of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei.In recent years,the economic development of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has been faster,the construction of railway network has also been strengthened,and the double-track rate and electrification rate have increased significantly.But at the same time,the problems such as the low quality of railway network,the urgent need to improve the level of technology and equipment,and the serious lag of the development of fast passenger railway are gradually highlighted.According to the medium and long-term railway network planning revised in 2016,the layout of railway network in China is not perfect,and the scale of coverage needs to be further expanded.As an important channel of "one belt and one road",Inner Mongolia's railway construction will usher in new opportunities for development.Railway construction is closely related to social economy,and the coupling relationship between them will affect the coordinated development of regional railway and economy.At the same time,urban economy also has an important impact on the planning and layout of regional railway network.In order to study the relationship between railway development and economic level in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,this paper does the following work based on ArcGIS platform:(1)Research on the economic and traffic background of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.Firstly,it analyzes the social and economic situation in Inner Mongolia,and expounds its resource distribution and industrial layout.Secondly,it studies the current transportation situation in Inner Mongolia and analyzes the structure of passenger demand.It finds that the railway passenger traffic is increasing year by year.The traffic volume of public passengers is declining;then the current situation and existing problems of the railway network are summarized.(2)Research on GIS-based accessibility evaluation methods.Firstly,the related theoretical basis of the concept and characteristics of accessibility is expounded.Then,by comparing the applicability of several methods,the weighted average time cost and daily accessibility are selected as the evaluation indicators of reachability.Finally,the GIS-based The technical process of accessibility evaluation provides a theoretical basis for the following analysis of accessibility.(3)Analysis and research on railway accessibility in Inner Mongolia.According to the basic data acquired,the railway network database of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is established.Combining with GIS technology and accessibility measurement method,the calculation results of railway accessibility and spatial pattern in the autonomous region are visually expressed,and the characteristics and development direction of the current road network layout are analyzed and summarized.(4)Coupling and coordination analysis of railway accessibility and economy.Firstly,the index evaluation system is constructed to determine the weight of the index.Secondly,the railway accessibility and economic development of the selected node cities are coupled and coordinated,and the coordination and adaptability of railway construction level and economic development in different regions are studied.(5)Study on the relationship between planning layout and economy of Inner Mongolia railway network.This paper puts forward the layout method of importance degree of joint nodes in traffic location,and puts forward corresponding suggestions for layout planning of Inner Mongolia railway network through analysis and calculation.Then,based on the importance of the main and auxiliary skeletons and nodes of the road network,the time sequence of railway construction planning is studied and analyzed.Finally,the railway accessibility and urban economic coupling coordination degree of the planned road network are analyzed and evaluated.
