Different from urban buildings,there are many problems on the rural houses such as the lack of seismic design,the choice of building materials,and the arbitrariness of construction methods.In particular,the traditional houses with long construction history have been seriously damaged in earthquakes,and they are often damaged by small earthquakes.Therefore,the seismic performance and reinforcement technology of the rural house have great social significance and high engineering value.Under local natural environment and historical conditions,the regional characteristics of the rural structures have been formed,and their seismic problems are different.It is necessary to targeted analyze and propose seismic strengthening measures that is suitable for local conditions and simple construction.Taking the typical structural forms of rural houses in Jiangxi Province,this thesis summarizes the seismic safety problems of rural houses in Jiangxi Province and surrounding areas.And through a large number of investigations,case analysis,numerical simulation techniques and engineering demonstration studies,the seismic performance and structural weaknesses are analyzed.Moreover,it is proposed the assessment technique of dangerous building and seismic strengthening method of rural houses.The specific work is as follows:1.Through a lot of investigations and data analysis,the thesis summarizes the earthquake safety problems of rural houses in Jiangxi Province.2.Combining the structural characteristics of the rural buildings in Jiangxi Province,the performance of materials,the experience of construction of rural buildings and housing safety appraisal,and related norms,the assessment methods for rural houses in Jiangxi Province were concluded.3.Using ADINA finite element software,the rural houses of traditional brick and wood structure were simulated in Jiangxi province.Through modal analysis and elastic-plastic time-history analysis,the seismic performance and seismic response characteristics of the rural house were studied.4.Based on our team's research of the safety and seismic performance of ruralhouses in recent years,and the research results in the world,the safety and seismic strengthening methods of the rural house in Jiangxi Province were proposed.And the reinforcement methods were compared and optimized by numerical analysis and other methods.5.Based on the above research results,the demonstration projects of reinforcement and reconstruction of rural houses in Jiangxi province were implemented,and the effectiveness and scalability of the reinforcement methods were further determined.
