With the rapid development of urbanization these years,there is a high demand on elevator industry.Elevator is a necessary in high-rise buildings,but the degree of wear increases as the age of elevator grow,which may cause safety accidents.Therefore,all of elevator industries are facing one of the serious challenges:How to reduce elevator safety accidents through a warning system.This article will explain how to build a platform which based on the IOT(Internet of Things)from the perspective of elevator safety.In order to improve the property company's ability to monitor elevators,IOT technology,communication technology and other professional knowledge should be used.The system will realize the functions of collecting elevator operating parameters,elevator operation status monitoring,fault prediction,etc.At the same time,it can carry out information management on elevator basic information,maintenance unit,manufacturer,maintenance record and other data.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)Based on the analysis of the current elevator industry situation and the application of new technologies,this article will introduce some relevant technologies,frameworks for the development,application of this system and analyse the specific needs of users in case.(2)The article will design the system as a whole according to the requirements.The design content includes the system physical structure,functional module composition and database structure.(3)At the end of the article,it will show the way to design and implement the core module,including the relationship between model in fault prediction and functional model.Based on the results obtained in the previous stage,the data structure of each functional module will be designed to produce high quality code.At the same time,the functional test and performance test of the system are also will be analyzed.The B/S architecture used in the development of this system is programmed in Python language.The Web framework uses the Django framework based on MTV mode.The front end uses the BootStrap framework,and the data storage uses Mysql as the database.Moreover,this system has completed the development of related functions and passed the functional test,performance test and other aspects,it also has been tested at Peking University Founder Electronics Co.,Ltd.The trial results showed in a way that the elevator monitoring platform which base on the IOT can reduce the risk of accidents and enhence the clout of regulators.
