Research And Application Of Beijing Subway Elevator Monitoring System Based On Internet Of Things

The subway is an important part of the urban transportation system in Beijing.For the convenience of passengers,subway stations are equipped with escalators and vertical elevators.As one of the indispensable equipment of subway stations,once the accidents associated with elevators occur,it might lead to a breakdown along with the negative impact from bringing inconvenience to passengers to threatening their life and safety,which will further give rise to serious social repercussions.This paper takes the elevators all over the major subway stations in Beijing as the research object,and establishes a set of intelligent system which integrates many functions,such as equipment management,online monitoring,and fault diagnosis and so on.The main researches of this paper are organized as follows:(1)This paper makes an investigation on the current situation of the operation and maintenance of elevators in Beijing Subway stations,analyzes the development trend of elevators in the rail transit industry and the problems in maintenance management,and explores the causes of major accidents.(2)In this paper,the monitoring scheme of elevator drive components,the layout scheme of escalator measuring points,the transformation scheme of communication interface and the database management scheme of monitoring system are proposed and established,so as to provide technical support for the implementation of monitoring system based on Internet of things technology.(3)A variety of sensors connected with vibration,temperature and current are installed for 30 Class A elevators in the Beijing Subway network,while the interfaces of 398 class B elevators are modified.Taking the existing parameters as reference,the monitoring of the Internet of things on elevators in Beijing Subway stations is successfully implemented.In this paper,through the analysis of diagnosis cases associated with Jinsong station,Beijing Railway station and other monitoring stations,the effectiveness of the monitoring system is thus verified.
