Research On The Regional Practice Of The Pritzker Architecture Prize Winner's Residence

Based on the regional practice as the main research content of the residence,with the pritzker architecture prize winner limited as the resea rch object,the article combed the 41 from 1979 to 2019 of the pritzker architecture prize review committee reviews and profile of all previous winners,selected involving residential design of 17 regional pritzker architecture prize winner 34 house work,and the residential practice from the use of space shaping and building materials to explore the two aspects of its residential regional technique.The thesis is discussed from the following three parts.The first part raises questions.The first chapter is the introduction,which firstly points out the research background of this paper,explains the necessity of studying regionalism and housing design,and analyzes the recognition of regionalism by pritzker prize for architecture,thus proposes the core issue of this paper.Then this paper summarizes the related research at home and abroad,and analyzes whether it is necessary to continue the research on this topic based on the existing research.Finally,the content,scope,significance,innovation points,methods and framework of this study are briefly described.The second part is the analysis of the problem,corresponding to the second chapter of the paper.the second part is the analysis of the problem,corresponding to the second chapter of the paper.The second chapter discusses the significance of residential architecture,pointing out that it not only serves as a tool to provide daily material needs,but also plays a role in carrying the historical context of the city and regional culture.This paper sorts out the development and meaning of regionalism from regionalism to criticism of architecture,summarizes the characteristics of regionalism proposed by Kenneth frampton,and expounds the important guiding significance of pritzker prize for architecture.The third part is to solve the problem,corresponding to the third and fourth chapters ofthe paper.Chapter three and chapter four are the specific analysis of the regional design method of the pritzker architecture award winner's residence.Based on the analysis of the regional creation method of the residence,the foothold of this paper lies in the space and materials.The two foothold points correspond to the contents of chapter three and chapter four respectively.The third chapter will space subdivided into outer space mode of regional design and regional design way of the internal space,by means of 14 pritzker architecture prize winner of22 residential work analysis,summed up the residential outer space three ways of regional expression,respectively within the site terrain,environment,landscape mode of echo,echo way of site conditions.Traditional representation of regional expression.The regional expression of the external space of the residence can be summarized in four ways,namely,the shaping of the traditional national space,the response to the local living mode,economic status and neighborhood.
