By combing the culture of the traditional Qixi Festival,this paper analyzes the reasons for the modern transformation of Qixi Festival from the perspective of cultural origin,from the perspectives of folklore,design,aesthetics and regional characteristics,through the festival product design to the Qixi Festival culture.Reinventing the series of ideas.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part introduces the research background of the thesis,briefly describes the origin and development of Chinese and foreign Chinese Valentine’s Day traditional festivals,and briefly introduces the content,significance,research methods and innovations of the thesis.The theoretical and practical significance and social value of this research are discussed.The second part is about the origin and evolution of Chinese traditional Qixi Festival,and introduces the origin and formation of Qixi Festival,and the Qixi Festival culture under the historical background.An overview is given to briefly analyze the origins of the different Qixi folk cultures formed in different periods.Based on the evolution of Tanabata Festival today,this paper analyzes the reasons why the traditional Qixi Festival is forgotten and gradually evolved to Western Valentine’s Day.The third part discusses the inheritance of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Henan Lushan Qixi Festival in Lushan.It is the result of its unique regional environment and regional culture.It is also the contribution of local government participation under the guidance of national policies.It points out the necessity and urgency of culturally guiding the Qixi Festival holiday culture to re-enter comprehensive festivals,as well as the traditional Qixi Festival cultural heritage.The importance of social development;the fourth part,based on the design of the Tanabata festival supplies of the Central Plains culture,extracting the regional cultural elements of Lushan County,Henan Province,the combination of the local Qixi Festival folk custom and daily life,based on the Lushan Qixi folk custom in Henan Tanabata festival image and holiday product design,from the aspects of design,aesthetics and regional characteristics,put forward feasible suggestions for the reshaping of traditional festivals.In the series of activities of the Tanabata Festival in Lushan County in the context of the protection of intangible cultural heritage in recent years,the symbolic characteristics of the traditional Qixi Festival are lacking,and the festival activities that carry the cultural connotation of Qixi are lacking.Just the design of holiday items bears the responsibility of translating the spiritual consciousness of traditional customs and culture into material form,making it a symbol of the protection and development of traditional culture.Therefore,this article starts with design,develops a series of holiday items suitable for modern people’s aesthetic and emotional needs,and enables traditional culture to re-enter people’s lives through the material bearing of holiday items.
