With the situation of more people and less ground in the city,the urban space becomes more and more serious and continues to develop into underground space,meanwhile,the deep foundation pit project also shows a trend of deeper and deeper as well as bigger and bigger.The deep foundation pit project is a systematic project,which is more complicated than the shallow foundation pit project,and there are more factors affecting the construction work characteristics.The quality of deep foundation pit construction is directly related to the stability of the superstructure and the use of its whole life cycle.If serious problems such as foundation pit collapse occur in the construction of deep foundation pits,great human and economic loss as well as social impacts will be caused.Due to tense construction period of deep foundation pit construction and frequent safety accidents during the construstion,the traditional two-dimensional design drawings of deep foundation pits have not been able to meet the application requirements well during the construction of the project.Under this circumstance,an effective technology is urgently needed to assist the construction of deep foundation pit construction.At this point,the application of BIM technology in constructional engineering construction shows great advantages,so this paper aims at probing about the application effect of BIM technology to the construction of deep foundation pit engineering.After studying a large number of domestic and foreign literature and BIM technology application cases,this paper proposes to add BIM technology to the construction of deep foundation pits.Firstly,the deep foundation pit engineering is summarized,the problems existing in the construction of deep foundation pits are analyzed and the reasons for the formation of the problems are analyzed.The advantages of BIM technology to solve these problems are explored,and the BIM technology is decided to be introduced into the deep foundation pit engineering auxiliary construction.Secondly,make comparison between the life cycle process of traditional and BIM-based deep foundation pits,to highlight the optimization of BIM technology in life cycle process.Thirdly,put forward the application idea of BIMtechnology in deep foundation pit construction and build the application framework and process based on BIM technology.Different applications are applied from the construction preparation stage,construction stage and completion stage.Finally,the advantages of BIM technology in deep foundation pit construction are verified by actual cases,which guarantees the quality and safety of deep foundation pit construction,realize certain control over construction progress and save part of the cost.In addition,the limitations of BIM technology application in the case have also be analyzed,and countermeasures have been proposed.After research,it shows that the application of BIM technology in the construction of deep foundation pits has significantly improved in terms of quality,safety,schedule and cost.
