Study On Planning And Design Of Cultural Characteristic Towns Based On Cultural Genes

In the construction and development of small towns with Chinese characteristics,small towns with cultural characteristics are a special type.Their deep history and culture,superior ecological environment and other characteristics determine their high development value,which is a feasible way to realize economic transformation and seek development in their region.Throughout the construction of small towns with cultural characteristics in our country,although there are a large number of small towns with cultural characteristics and excellent ones have been built,some small towns with cultural characteristics still have the phenomena of homogeneity of landscape and vulgarization of town development.Exploring the reasons can be attributed to the failure to grasp the essence of local culture and understand the local characteristics.Therefore,in order to avoid such problems as far as possible,the integration planning of cultural context of small towns with cultural characteristics needs to continue to explore,in order to find a better way of sustainable development.Based on the above background,this paper studies the planning and design of small towns with cultural characteristics.By studying the development status,background,relevant policies and concepts of small towns with cultural characteristics,the main purpose and content of this paper are determined.Then,by studying the relevant cultural theory of urban construction application at home and abroad,we choose "cultural gene" as the theoretical support of this paper’s planning and design;study the relevant content and cases of cultural characteristic towns,summarize a set of indicators for the construction of cultural characteristic towns,and provide guidance for future planning and design.At the same time,after understanding the related contents of cultural genes and towns with cultural characteristics,this paper summarizes the carrier elements of cultural genes in towns with cultural characteristics,and concludes that the cultural gene map of towns with cultural characteristics can include four categories:natural landscape,history and humanity,folk behavior,consciousness and spirit,nine categories,including landform pattern,natural resources,historical sites,landscape pattern and mountain scenery.22 sub-categories,such as waterscape,residential buildings,local property,etc.Finally,according to all aspects of the construction requirements of small towns with cultural characteristics,the planning and design strategies of integrating cultural genes into small towns with cultural characteristics at different levels are formulated,and the planning and design of Yaoqi town in Huangbao Town,Shaanxi Province,as an example,in order to provide some construction ideas for the future development and construction of small towns with cultural characteristics.
