With the acceleration of urbanization and the continuous development of urban agglomeration in China,the work,life and recreational activities of residents in adjacent cities have become increasingly close.Intercity railway has become the main mode of passenger intensive travel in urban agglomeration due to its advantages of fast,convenient,large capacity and low energy consumption.As a new mode of travel,intercity railway has its particularity between conventional railway transportation(such as high-speed railway,general-speed railway)and highway transportation(such as intercity coach,intercity bus).Therefore,it is of practical significance to study the influencing factors of passengers'preference for Intercity Railway mode of travel.Based on stochastic utility theory,this paper makes a deep analysis of the influencing factors of the traffic sharing ratio among five intercity modes of transportation of Changsha-Zhuzhou-XiangTan passenger transport corridor,and constructs an individual-based passenger mode selection model.The influence of different influencing factors on passengers'choice of travel modes in different situations is also studied.It provides theoretical guidance for the operation and management of inter-city railway in passenger corridor and the optimization of the traffic network structure in intercity corridor.At the same time,as one of the main factors affecting the choice of traffic modes in Intercity corridors,passenger travel distance has important guiding significance for the rational layout of traffic modes in Intercity corridors by studying the differences of passenger preferences for different traffic modes at different distances and analyzing the most suitable travel distance for each mode.Firstly,this paper models the passenger travel mode choice behavior in three different travel distance scenarios of Changsha-Zhuzhou-XiangTan passenger transport corridor.Based on the questionnaire data of field survey,a nested logit model with different structures is constructed to determine the utility functions of five traffic modes selection and calibrate the model.According to the results of the model,the effects of fare,travel time,terminal connection and arrival time,departure interval on passenger travel mode selection are analyzed in detail.The sensitivity of the intercity railway sharing rate to each influencing factor under different travel distances is analyzed,and the optimal scheme to improve the intercity railway sharing rate under different travel distances scenarios is pointed out.Finally,in order to deeply analyze the influence of distance on the division of traffic modes in the intercity passenger transport corridor,this paper designs the conversion equation of fare and travel time to distance,integrates the mode selection models under different distances,and puts passenger travel distance as a traveler characteristic variable into the variable set,and constructs the MNL model.This paper analyses the sensitivity changes of different influencing factors when the travel distance changes continuously,and provides a solution for the expansion and migration of the model.This model can be applied to the decision-making guidance of the construction of new intercity railway lines in passenger corridors.Based on the traffic data of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan passenger transport corridor,this paper constructs a traffic mode selection model with field questionnaires,and uses SP questionnaires to describe the preferences of all five modes of transportation in each level of travel distance in the corridor,which makes up for the deficiencies caused by the lack of a certain mode of transportation in the actual scene.The result of the model is accurate,and the error of traf:fic mode allocation in different travel distance scenarios is not more than 6%.The model is credible.According to sensitivity analysis,the sharing rate of Intercity Railway under 50km distance is greatly influenced by the factors affecting the choice of traffic mode,and the optimization effect of traffic mode structure is remarkable under this travel distance.
