Metropolitan area is the product of urban development to a certain stage.The urban development mode based on metropolitan area can not only alleviate the disadvantages of overcapacity in large cities,but also greatly promote the regional economic synergistic development.With the rapid development of economy and the acceleration of personnel flow caused by the urbanization process,the communication between cities is more frequent.The existing intercity passenger transport system can't meet the needs of metropolitan development,so a large capacity,fast and efficient intercity passenger transport system is imminent.Regional economic and social development needs the support of the transportation infrastructure,do the intercity passenger transport system planning is essential for the integration of metropolitan development,while traffic mode split is an important link in traffic planning,therefore,objective and accurate traffic mode split is of great significance.Embark from the existing passenger transport structure,this paper establishes the mode split model of intercity passenger transport based on travel behavior theory and survey data,analyzes the influencing factors of intercity travel mode selection and forecasts the future.In this paper,the disaggregate model of traffic mode split is systematically expounded.Secondly,the intercity passenger transport structure of metropolitan area is analyzed in detail,includes the composition and influencing factors of passenger traffic structure,and the relationship between different passenger transportation.Thirdly,the paper summarizes the influencing factors of the selection of traffic model,focuses on the theory of intercity travel behavior,analyzes and come to the decision-making process of intercity travel mode and tries to solve the problem.Then,the existing traffic mode split method was discussed,sets up the NL model based on personal travel behavior,focuses on the impact of the urban internal travel,and promotes detailed solution of model with the statistical analysis system.Finally,based on Hangzhou metropolitan travel behavior survey data,the model was solved and tested.And the results show that the model has good applicability.
