Design Practice Research On Regional Cultural Expression In Waterfront Landscape

During the vigorous development of landscape architecture in China,the convergence of landscape architecture is becoming more and more serious.From the perspective of design,it is a major problem to break away from the regional culture and site spirit that the site should have.Certain regional environment creates local culture,and regionalism is an important attribute of culture.Landscape,to some extent,is the carrier of regional culture.When reflecting regional characteristics,the design should be based on specific natural geography,climate,humanities and social background,and rely on the specific environment of the site.Garden place presents the spatial structure conceived by the designer through the planning and design of specific material elements,such as buildings,sketches and plants,so as to express the specific atmosphere,namely the spirit of place.Landscape characteristic is the nature of the region,to regain the modernism thought left out under the dominant emotion and sympathy,avoid the influence of globalization on regional culture assimilation,be about to solve features disappear in landscape design,landscape convergence problem,must be based on the age,the respect cultural inheritance and norms and principles of landscape design,pay attention to protect places of uniqueness,on the basis of regional natural environment,create people to inhabit,cultural and emotional identity of garden Spaces.Landscape design should be based on regional culture,avoid the formation of a specific style or form,but the formation of a garden characteristics of a rational thinking and method.Starting from the convergence of landscape architecture,this paper analyzes and summarizes the exploration of regional culture in the fields of architecture and landscape architecture,summarizes the characteristics and many factors behind the convergence and divergence,and points out the significance of paying attention to regional culture and respecting the spirit of place.Through the study of human geography,recreation and related concepts,and combining the characteristics of landscape architecture,this paper expounds the concept and connotation of regional culture and site spirit,points out the relationship between regional culture and garden sites,and serves as the theoretical basis for discussing the landscape design under regional culture.At the same time,the problems exposed in the process of urban waterfront development have been the focus of academic discussion and criticism.In the process of planning,design and construction,waterfront green space largely ignores the exploration and expression of urban form,continuity of context and regional characteristics.Many waterfront green space planning and design project convergence phenomenon is obvious,the lack of regional characteristics and cultural connotation.China has a vast territory and numerous ethnic groups.Different regional ethnic cultures have integrated with local natural environment,and the production activities and natural succession process of working people have formed distinctive regional landscapes on the earth.At the same time,against the background of the international cultural trend of "globalization" with "regionalism",the two concepts of "national is the world" and "original ecology" are gradually popularized,which are closely related to the concept of "regionalism".Regional concept is the most important part in landscape architecture planning and design industry at present and in the future.Paper is proposed based on regional culture place design of the overall train of thought and framework,from the region’s natural environment,traditional,ethnic,religious,technology and materials,landscape form,and many other aspects in detail elaborated the expression of regional culture in waterfront landscape strategy,combined with domestic and foreign urban waterfront landscape design practice instance,analyzes and sums up the creation with regional culture characteristics of landscape places of all kinds of ways,and put forward corresponding Suggestions to the current landscape design.Finally,combined with the field project--huixian baiquan river planning and design,the long history and culture of huixian county are displayed,and the regional cultural expression in the waterfront landscape is explored.
