Research On Waterfront Landscape Design From Regional Cultural Perspective

Urban waterfront space gathers regional natural culture and historical culture,and witnesses the rise and decline and growth of the city.For cities built on water,the waterfront space itself contains rich cultural connotations,and the construction of waterfront landscape can effectively promote the inheritance and development of regional culture.Because of its unique ecological,economic and social value,other urban waterfront space has become an important spatial node in the city.Integrating regional culture into waterfront landscape design will help to enhance the recognition of urban landscape,enhance the historical and cultural heritage of the city,and strengthen the close relationship between the city,water system and people.At the same time,in the face of the convergence of design brought about by globalization,the integration and application of regional culture can guide the waterfront landscape to play its regional characteristics and get out of the design dilemma.Exploring innovative design methods combining new concepts and new technologies,so that the expression of regional culture in waterfront landscape design breaks throughh the superficial form and creates deep links,has the value of the times.Based on the perspective of regional culture,this paper studies the urban waterfront landscape design.By combing the development of relevant research at home and abroad,using the methods of literature research,case analysis and field research,it summarizes the existing problems of urban waterfront landscape design from the perspective of regional culture.Starting from the relationship between regional culture and waterfront landscape,this paper expounds the importance of applying the concept of regional culture to waterfront landscape design,and points out that the design should follow the design principles of integrity,ecology,humanization,culture and innovation.With the help of the elements of landform,plant,water body,architecture and landscape sketches in wterfront landscape as the expressive ways,it explores the preservation,reproduction and promotion of waterfront landscape design.Refinement and ion,contrast and integration,metaphor and symbol,reconstruction and innovation of expression.At the same time,combined with excellent practical cases at home and abroad,it provides some reference for waterfront landscape design.Finally,it takes the design of Mang River waterfront landscape in Mengzhou City of Henan Province as an example to carry out practical exploration,dig deep into the regional cultural connotation of the site,reproduce the "Eight Sceneries of River and Yang" locally in modern design language,establish the organic connection between tradition and modern culture.The waterfront landscape of culture,life and ecology will provide reference for the future design of waterfront landscape based on regional culture.
