A Study Of Chinese Hydropower Investment Projects In LAOS From The Perspective Of Local People

Under the background of increasing trade cooperation between China and Laos,hydropower investment has always been an important part of bilateral cooperation.On the one hand,due to the slow development of domestic economy in Laos,the hydropower industry has the advantages of resources and no technical superiority,and urgently needs foreign capital to improve the water conservancy and hydropower industry.On the other hand,in 2013,China's"one belt and one road"development strategy put forward a policy guarantee for China's hydropower investment in Laos.On the one hand,the investment in hydropower in this paper is related to the economic development level of Laos,thus affecting the income level of the people.Therefore,when investing in the hydropower industry in Laos,China should choose the object with great development potential and competitiveness to invest.At the same time,China needs to consider the actual situation of Laos,avoid the opposition of Lao community residents caused by the monopoly of hydropower investment,and make reasonable investment in the light of Laos'development status.On the other hand.China's"one belt and one way"development strategy put forward in 2013 has promoted trade cooperation between China and ASEAN countries.This paper will deeply analyze the performance of China's investment in Laos hydropower industry through empirical analysis,and explore various problems in the process of investment,so as to put forward reasonable suggestions for the development of Laos hydropower industry and the benefit of China's foreign investment.This paper studies from the following parts:The first part is the introduction.This paper introduces the research background,research significance,research methods and research focus,difficulties and innovative points,so as to seek the entry point of this paper.The second part is the definition of concept and literature review.This paper defines the theory involved in this paper,and summarizes and reviews the relevant literature in the past,and draws the deficiencies of research in the relevant fields and the performance research methods used in this paper.The third part is the analysis of the current situation of hydropower investment in China in Laos.This paper analyses the present situation of hydropower investment in Laos in China.Firstly,it analyses the support of Laos for attracting foreign investment from the policy point of view.Secondly,it studies the present situation of hydropower investment in Laos in China from the perspective of investment scale and investment motivation.The fourth part is the empirical analysis of hydropower investment performance of China in Laos.Through factor analysis,this paper makes an empirical analysis on the performance of China's investment in Laos hydropower,and explores the investment performance from multiple perspectives and objectivity.The fifth part is the impact analysis of China's hydropower investment projects in Laos.According to the results of the empirical analysis in Chapter 3.the paper points out the problems of investment in hydropower in Laos.The sixth part is the conclusion.Based on the results of the previous studies,the paper draws conclusions on the investment policy of Laos,the status quo of hydropower investment of Chinese enterprises in Laos,the performance and impact of hydropower investment of Chinese enterprises,and puts forward policy recommendations.
