Study On Spatial Pattern Of Ethnic Settlements

With the rapid development of new-type urbanization,the development and construction of mountain resources is the inevitable trend of future development,which provides a perfect opportunity for the ethnic regions with special and complex natural conditions,closed and single natural economic model,and backward infrastructure and social undertakings.As the carrier of national culture,ethnic settlements have specific spatial-temporal attributes,so we need to strengthen the study of ethnic settlements in plateau mountain,understand its spatial pattern characteristics,reveal the human-environment interaction,and avoid various forms of destruction such as "constructive,developmental,and tourism,,;leading to the destruction of ecological environment and the loss of national culture.This paper takes Longyang District,Baoshan City,Yunnan Province as an example,which has rich mountain environment and distinct nationality,it uses GIS spatial analysis,landscape pattern index,the ENVI remote sensing image interpretation,K-means clustering methods to study ethnic settlements spatial pattern of Longyang district.The purpose is to provide some reference for future planning and construction and protection and development of ethnic settlements.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Study on spatial pattern of settlements.The paper studies the characteristics of rural settlements horizontal spatial patterns of Longyang district from the following four aspects:settlement geographical situation,scale and form,settlement point agglomeration characteristics.The paper studies the characteristics of rural settlements vertical spatial patterns of Longyang district from the following three aspects:land use scale,settlement scale and population scale.(2)Study on spatial pattern of ethnic settlements.Based on study on spatial pattern of settlements,superimpose the settlement landscape with the natural environment of the plateau mountain.From the administrative division,geographical conditions,scale,with(rivers,roads and towns)of the coupling relationship between the six aspects of different ethnic settlements(bai,dai,the han,yi,lisu)settlement horizontal space differentiation characteristics;The vertical spatial pattern characteristics of different ethnic settlements were studied from two aspects of settlement scale and population scale.
