With the intensification of the aging population and the increase of the number of the disabled in China,the demand for rehabilitation of the elderly and the disabled is growing with each passing day.Hand is one of the most important organs of human beings,and it is also the most vulnerable part in our daily life.Accidental disability,aging degeneration,stroke and other diseases easily could lead to loss of hand function.Hand function rehabilitation training is a painful process of mechanical repetition.It needs exercises day in and day out.some rehabilitation trainers are la(ck of active training with emotional resistance,which is harmful to the rehabilitation process.At present,the form of hand function rehabilitation products is single,and the method is traditional and limited,lacking of scientific training system.Most hand function rehabilitation products are simply entities toys.They are just tools to assist completion of the training operation,very small part of the game screen has been incorporated.Gamification is now widely used,including the media,entertainment,education,health care,green ecology5news e-commerce,financial services and other industries.Although some foreign companies have carried out a number of research on the game of rehabilitation products,most of the products are designed for upper limb movement;There is no gamification design of the hand function rehabilitation product in China now.The introduction of gamification concept is a innovative work worthy to try.It makes the hand functional rehabilitation trainers feel comfortable,warm and funny,giving them a game like pleasant experience,to the goals of active training and complete rehabilitation.Aiming at providing trainers with gamification experience of hand function rehabilitation training products,this paper explored how to properly use the gamification concepts to design hand function rehabilitation training products.Firstly;a theoretical and experimental study of gamification was conducted through the method of literature analysis and interdisciplinary research.Secondly,making a comprehensive analysis of the existing products by using instance analysis and comparative study,pointing out innovations and disadvantages of the existing products.Thirdly,using methods of observation and interviews to deeply dig potential needs of trainers.Then a product of hand function rehabilitation training was designed,and ultimately we could understand a user's satisfaction from the result of user evaluation,which helps to identify the gaps and complete the iterative update.
