Research On The Design Of Suburban Riverside Landscape

Suburban riverside area is the combination of land and water area and is located in the combination zone between urban and rural areas.lt is defined as the unstable region and its development is influenced by urbanization.Suburban riverside landscape is one of the most important parts of the urban landscape.With the advancement of urbanization,the use of riverside area is increasing.And the academia only provides a few professional cases for the suburban water-front development.Because of lacking authoritative theory achievements,the development of urban water-front shows great randomness.The research aims to refine the concept of suburban riverside landscape design,using literature analysis.Through analysing the theory of urban water-front design at home and abroad,and studying the specific plans and using the methods of case analysis,field investigation,this research has summarized the problems existed for a long time.Finally,the article puts forward a strategy for suburban riverside landscape design,and use landscape design of the second phase of the Xiaoqing River in Shijiazhuang as a case to proof the strategy's feasibility.Hope this research may provide scientific guidance for the suburban riverside landscape design.
