Study On The Riverfront Landscape Of Xining Huangshui River Based On Ecological Perspective

Since the reform and opening up, the size of cities in China have been in continuing expansion. Then, it lead to the decrease of natural elements in ubans. Finally, we are limited to live in a boring concrete world. Now, the riparian zone has become one of the few areas that full of natural vitalities. However, due to the influence of industrial development and the lack of public’s awareness of the environmental protection, ecological environment of riverfront was once serious damaged. Eventually, people gradually away from the riverside. The economic benefit, cultural benefit and ecological benefit that the river brings have been reduced. The result of it is that city’s development is limited. As the mother river of Qinghai, Huangshui River is from west to East through the entire Xining city. It plays an important role in the development of Xining city and the construction of human settlements environment in Xining.Based on the regional climate conditions, geography, historical context and the present situation of river, Huangshui River are chose to study to meet the current development trend of riverfront landscape and the local ecology. To explore the measures to recover and develop the landscape of Huangshui River, I investigate the current situation of it, learn from the domestic and foreign theories and practical experiences, combine the landscape architecture, ecology and relevant theories. At first, the advances of the theory and practice of riverfront landscape plannning and design at home and abroad was talked about in the article. Secondly, explore the problems of the development of riverfront landscape design in china and the riverfront landscape of Huangshui River. Then, researched the elements of riverfront landscape planning and design. At last, the measures of Huangshui River riverfront landscape planning and design was discussed based on the Huangshui River National Wetland Park. Hope to provide some theoretical references and supports for the design and development of our country city’s riverfront landscape.
