Research On Urban Riverfront Design

To urban city, the river landscape is one of the important contents of the urban landscape system. Nowadays urban river region is the spot of urban landscape planning and design of regional. It involving multiple areas, especially is closed with all aspects of the urban landscape construction and public life. In recent years, with the acceleration of urban modernization processing, people’s understanding that about the river are growing and project’s implementation, new requirements and new content that about the urban water conservancy construction are proposed. It in order to meet the needs of the new function in the city, to achieve the requirements of "the blue sky, the clear water, green ground, the wide road.". On the other hand, it requires the city be more friend and ecological, then people will lives more comfortable. Water conservancy construction should take the initiative to adapt to this change, from the pure water conservancy project to water resources, ecological water, water landscape, with new ideas for planning and design. This is performed in the ecological environment of the river from originally only on the river water environment pollution of governance and improve the water quality of the environment gradually to the river ecological water use. ecological restoration and wetland and watershed ecological construction etc. For example, such as the project in Funan River in Chengdu, Fen River in Taiyuan, Xiaojing River in Jinan River water. At the same time, it is worth thinking about how to combine the design idea of the humanities idea with the river landscape design.In this thesis, from the current situation of the development of today’s urban river landscape of distinguished by a large number of field and the data of investigation and analysis of domestic and foreign examples, further explains the concept of urban river waterfront landscape design, summarizes the urban river landscape design development still exist many problems and deficiencies.
