Study On Planning And Design Of Country Parks Based On Landscape Performance Evaluation

Since the beginning of the emergence of country parks,they have assumed the dual functions of ecology and recreation,and the special location also makes them have unique ecological and social value.By importing the theory of landscape performance evaluation,the benefits of country parks are quantified,and a new method is discussed to guide the landscape planning and design of country parks.Analyzing the existing research on landscape performance evaluation systematically,based on the feature and position of country parks,the suitable landscape performance evaluation factors were selected through evidence-based and case analysis,and the landscape planning and design methods were constructed.The results were verified by taking Qinglong lake park in fangshan district of Beijing as an example.The quantitative results of landscape performance before and after the design are evaluated by using the method of status evaluation--strategic guidance--later retrospective evaluation to verify the guidance of landscape performance evaluation on planning and design.Through the research of the function characteristics of country parks,and landscape performance evaluation factors,based on the principle of ecological benefit maximization,selecting 10 landscape performance evaluation factors that is suitable for the country parks,such as:land use,stormwater management,water conservation,habitat creation,habitat quality,population&species richness,temperature&urban heat island,carbon sequestration&avoidance,recreational&social,education value,and the construction of the planning and design of the country park in the form of a step in the landscape performance evaluation.By evaluating the exiting landscape perforrmance of Qinglong lake park,putting forward the design strategy by three aspects:setting up stormwater management to reduce the runoff,creating a habitat build rich vegetation and establishing a leisure system.Through the ecological conservation axis,recreation experience and scientific cognitive structure layout,optimize the transportation system,water management,plant landscape,leisure activities and facilities planning,achieve the goal of the total annual runoff control rates of 85%,by means of rainwater collection to reduce irrigation water,promoting 51%plant species diversity and biomass density index of 22%.At the same time,the overall plant carbon sequestration capacity of the site was improved by 47%,and rainwater interception capacity was improved by 67%,which comprehensively improved the ecological benefits of the site.In terms of social benefits,through the planning of four types of recreation system and three types of popular science system,it attracts more tourists,increases the value of recreation and education,and better realizes the expected goal.The method of the landscape performance evaluation,various benefits of country parks are quantified to make the selection of strategies and the application of design techniques more purposeful.Therefore,the feasibility evaluation factors,planning approaches,design strategies and sustainable development suggestions of landscape planning and design of country parks based on landscape performance evaluation are summarized.It is helpful to promote the development evaluation of landscape and the innovation of landscape planning and design.
