Pilot Study On Landscape Planning For Country Parks

With the high speed of urbanization, the construction concentration of urban development is enhanced, city residents living rhythm speeding up, so the contradiction between the environment and human is becoming increasingly conspicuous. Especially land in suburban areas is ingested, picturesque scenery is destroyed, and natural water is changed. The environment which are suitable for human playing nearly disappear. In this situation, the construction of country parks, as the independent architecture landscape system, is inevitable and necessary. Country parks will be the important place of conserving the important green space in the suburban areas and providing places of entertainment for the residents. But the construction of country parks in our country is in the early stage, there are a lot of problems to be researched and explored.There are three parts in this paper:(1)On the basis of analyzing the emerging background,the process of development and the influence on people's live of the country parks in UK, we can get two functional characteristics of country parks:Protecting the environment of suburban and providing the recreational public location which is potential. (2)Using a lot of analysis of practical cases and sampled questionnaire survey data to discuss the development strategy of the planning of country parks in our country come to the conclusion which contains 8 design main points: having attractive scenery, effective area, condensed design of entertainment and rest, environmental park facilities, human space arrangement, perfect security facilities, well planned managing measures and plans for public involvement. (3)Taking "Jing Cang Lake Country Park"as an example to make an forecasting analysis, we can sum up the design thought of this park, and provide theory support for the landscape design. At last we can arrive at the trade of country park design which taking human as the guide.Country parks, as a equation of Ecology,Landscape Architecture and Spaces, involving multidisciplinary. This paper using the direction of urban development and residents'needs as a point of departure to discuss the main functional characteristics and design points. We hope that my paper can provide some reference for designing country parks and concern on sustainable development, provide a more pleasant park environment for the public.
