The Restoration Of Fu Bi’s Garden In Luoyang In Northern Song Dynasty

For the study of gardening history before the Southern Song Dynasty,Luoyang is a city that cannot be neglected.The China famous gardens were in Luoyang,and the Northern Song Dynasty is an important period for the development of gardens of Luoyang.There are many famous gardens,the gardening of technology and art reached the top at that time.Among the famous gardens in Luoyang in the Northern Song Dynasty,Fu Bi’s Garden was the first one to be promoted.Fu Bi’s Garden was designed and constructed by Fu Bi,the famous Prime Minister of the Northern Song Dynasty,and he retired in 1071.It was the representative of private gardens and literature gardens at that time.Later generations took it as a model of famous gardens of Confucian ministers and had far-reaching influence.Li Gefei,a famous scholar in the Later Northern Song Dynasty,wrote the Garden Records.This paper takes Fu Bi’s Garden as the research object.It uses research methods that combine historical documents,archaeological materials,paintings of the Song Dynasty and the Architecture Rules,cross-check each other,verify each other,and complement each other to textual research,deduction,and restoration.Based on historical documents and related archaeological materials,a large number of paintings of Song Dynasty as the image reference,and with Li Mingzhong’s Architecture Rules as the institutional criteria,four in one,support each other,the three-dimensional restoration design of the overall image of the ancient garden is more objective and true.The specific contents include literature review and research,spatial layout derivation,and three-dimensional modeling of the whole garden.In particular,the structure of the building are presented in detail.Finally,its design ideas and cultural life are briefly analyzed and discussed.The research results can be used as a supplement to the history of gardens in the Song dynasty,and the design results can provide reference for the restoration of private gardens in the same time period.
