Research About Urban Park Design Methods Based On The Critical Regionalsim

Under the background of the great fusion of the modern world culture,the conflict between the regional civilization and the universal civilization has become a question worth exploring.With the rapid development of industrialization and standardization,the quality of people’s life has been improved to a certain extent.However,the neglect of regional culture makes people’s mind gradually poor,and the spirit of the city is gradually lost.Most cities are pursuing industrialization and urbanization,hoping to improve their competitiveness in the most economical and efficient way.However,such a pursuit led to thousands of cities featurelessnessAs an important part of the urban open space,the urban park is a window to show the features of the city.This research began from the discussion on "regional" and "universal" with the study on the development of critical regionalism theory.The research also lists some important factors and methods to design a park full of regional features.At last,by showing the accomplishments of the design of Huaxia Park,the writer want to show that modern landscape architects should always design with a critical thinking mind.
