With the continuous deepening of urbanization, industrialization and agricultural modernization in China, the overall development of production, life and ecological space has become the strategic grasp of territorial spatial planning.Eco-space is one of the basic aspects of regional ecosystem services and have a significance to urban ecological security and residents'living needs.Eco-space regulation is an important part of social and economic development and ecological civilization construction in the new era.It also plays an important role of strengthening the protection of natural ecological space and promoting the reform of natural resource management system.Relevant policies emphasize that ecological space regulation is an important grasp to ensure ecological security and realize the construction of ecological civilization and put forward urgent requirements for Eco-space regulation. This paper takes Shanghai,a metropolitan area in China, where ecological resources are scarce due to urbanization development,as the research area,to carry out the delimitation, classification and put forward regulation suggestions.Firstly, through literature review, this paper sorted out the concepts and extension, delimitation methods and regulation measures of ecological space.According to the principles of scientificity, operability, comprehensiveness and people-oriented of ecological space regulation, the delimitation and classification of ecological space in Shanghai were carried out from the perspective of ecosystem services. Finally, this paper establishes the path of ecological space regulation from four aspects:regulation subject,decision-making stage, implementation stage and feedback mechanism. It proposes rigid and flexible regulation zones and puts forward the policy suggestions from two perspectives of access conditions and use conversion. The results show that:(1)the advantages of building ecological spatial classification system from the perspective of ecosystem services can be embodied, and the structure of ecological space can be distinguished by ascertaining dominant funtions and functional level.(2)According to the results of the classfication, the proportion of the ecological space dominated by supply and support function is 4.8%,mainly distributed in the upper reaches of Huangpu River,Dongfengxisha Reservoir of Chongming Island and some national forest parks, the proportion of the ecological space dominated by regulation function is 86.84%.It mainly distributes in the suburbs and rural areas of Shanghai. The proportion of ecological space dominated by social service function is 8.37%,which mainly distributes in central Shanghai.(3)Constructing an evaluation system for the three main ecological services based on big data thinking can further embody the human-oriented needs.Based on the big data of Baidu Thermal Map,Gaode Comment and Gaode Map Path Planning, this paper synthesizes individual behavior, grasps the needs of whole residents for ecological services, and comprehensively reflects the interaction between human system and ecological space regulation.(4)Based on ecological space dominated by different funcitons and different regulatory intensity, this paper puts forward the value orientation of the regulation of ecological space, explores the policy suggestions of optimizing ecological space regulation from the perspectives of access conditions and use conversion. And it constructs a regulation mode of ecological space with spatial pattern-functional structure-quality grading as the core logic and macro-meso-micro as the gradual scale.
