With the development of society,the economy of our country is changing with each passing day.Automobile has become the most common means of transportation for people to travel everyday,and has become an indispensable part of people's life.More and more people have their own means of travel-automobile.The popularity of automobiles in the public is accompanied by the emergence of problems.According to the statistics of relevant departments,traffic accidents in China are also increasing year by year with the growth of the automobile market.As a kind of automobile accidents,rear-end accidents often occur,and account for a large proportion.When rear-end accidents occur,a large proportion of them will cause very serious neck injuries to the human body.Although neck injuries will not cause immediate death,it is difficult for the human body to recover.Such injuries bring serious troubles and economic losses to the injured,but also bring serious burdens to their families.Based on the HUACHEN M8 X platform seat project,the whipping performance of the seat is improved through the modeling,simulation,test and structural optimization of whipping injury,and the influencing factors of whipping injury are studied in depth.Initial researchers used research methods for rear-end collision accidents and some auxiliary tests were inefficient and ineffective.They could not find the root cause of rear-end collision injury and could not solve the neck injury caused by rear-end collision.Based on this point,the structure of human neck,the movement process of neck in tail-chase collision and the mechanism of neck injury in collision are deeply studied in this paper.The mechanism of tail-chase collision injury is fundamentally understood,which provides a theoretical basis for future research on tail-chase collision.The initial research form of rear-end collision is the real vehicle test.The subjects are volunteers,animals and corpses.These three kinds of test objects have obvious shortcomings.They can not simulate the whole process of human neck injury very well.The inaccurate test data can only be used for reference,and they are easy to produce risks in the test.The production cycle of real vehicle samples is long.In this paper,the research forms of whipping injury are studied in depth.Mechanical simulation test and CAE simulation test are two test forms to simulate the actual rear-end accident.These two tests have obvious advantages over the real vehicle test,and have the characteristics of short cycle and low cost.The model of seat whipping is modeled by hyperWorks,which is imported into LS-DYNA software for analysis and solution.Finally,the simulation analysis is completed by using the derived calculation results,and the mechanical model simulation test is carried out for the seat to provide data support for the analysis of whipping injury.The establishment of whipping model is to set boundary conditions on computer by software and simulate whipping test environment as much as possible,but there are often inconsistencies between whipping simulation and whipping test results.In this paper,a mathematical model of whipping is checked in the form of test and simulation.The accuracy of simulation is improved and the main influencing factors of whipping injury are analyzed: backlash,backrest stiffness,pillow stiffness and contact area behind head.Seat parameters themselves have a cross-impact on whipping performance indicators,not a single parameter affecting a single index.The research on whipping has not reached the level of quantitative impact parameters.In this paper,the simulation analysis of single parameters is carried out,and the optimization scheme of single parameters is worked out.By optimizing the seat structure and assigning different values to single parameters,the influence of single parameters on whipping injury is found.According to the influence of single parameter on whipping score and the actual situation,this paper formulates the final optimization scheme,and through the simulation analysis,then makes a small batch sample for whipping test.The final score of whipping was raised from 3.1 to 4.1 to meet the requirements of the project.It has contributed to the success of Huachen M8 X automobile project in getting five-star collision,and also provided a theoretical basis for the follow-up research based on whipping injury.
