In the past 20 years,the domestic automobile industry has been developing continuously.Since 2009,China has surpassed the United States to become the largest country in the world in terms of automobile production and sales,which has been maintained till now.The huge market has effectively driven the growth of automobile manufacturers.With the continuous expansion of production capacity in the automobile industry,the competition among domestic independent brand manufacturers is becoming increasingly fierce,and consumers'requirements for vehicles are constantly improving.They all hope to buy cars with low price,excellent quality and novel design.In this context,domestic automobile manufacturers need to improve the project management level,so as to enhance the competitiveness of their products.Project schedule management is a key part of the whole vehicle project development.Doing a good job in project schedule management and accelerating the product iteration speed can make the vehicle enterprises occupy a favorable position in the market competition.This paper first explains the background and significance of the research,and then briefly introduces the theory of project schedule management.Starting from the third chapter,taking the whole vehicle research and development project of B company as an example,this paper introduces the project schedule delay phenomenon in the whole vehicle development process.In the fourth chapter,the existing problems are analyzed with the investigation method,and the analysis results are classified and sorted.In chapter 5,the optimization measures implemented by company B are analyzed in detail from the perspective of theory and engineering.This paper introduces the methods adopted by B company to deal with the problems of project schedule from four aspects:the implementation of project schedule technology,the reform of large project system(strong matrix organization),synchronous engineering application and virtual research and development application.Finally,the paper summarizes that project schedule management is the key factor in the whole vehicle development.The careful formulation and execution of project schedule,the implementation of project system and the application of synchronous engineering technology can all play a positive role in the project schedule.Limited by the author's theoretical reserves and time factors,the problems and effects of the above measures after the deadline of this paper are not fully reflected.It is necessary to continue to follow up the project of B company,summarize the experience of the above measures in practice,and improve the project progress management level.
