| China has issued a series of policies and regulations to protect the environment,and transportation infrastructure energy conservation and emission reduction technology is the key implementation direction of industry R&D.Green materials and construction technology are important development trends.Compared with hot mix asphalt mixture,cold mix mixture can reduce energy consumption and pollution,but the current cold mix has low strength and narrow application range,which limits the application development of cold mix in highway engineering.This paper aims to improve the ordinary cold mix mixture,using water-based polymer materials as emulsified asphalt modifier,and apply it in practical engineering.The properties of three kinds of water-based polymer materials were analyzed and evaluated by tensile test and dynamic shear rheological test.The tensile strength and viscoelastic properties of different water-based polymer materials were obtained.The optimum amount of water added during the mixing of the mixture was determined by the modified trial mixing test,and the curing method of the mixture was determined according to the water loss rate and Marshall stability of the Marshall test pieces under different curing time.The high-low temperature performance and water stability of three water-based polymer modified emulsified asphalt mixtures were evaluated by laboratory experiments,and compared with the performance of hot mixes and ordinary cold mixes,a preferred one was preferred.Waterborne polymer modified asphalt mixture.In addition,the tensile strength,bond strength and shear strength of the selected adhesive layer materials were evaluated.Compared with other modified asphalt adhesive layers,the bonding performance was improved by 1.5 times and the shear performance was improved by 2 times.The construction process of the mixture was studied by paving a small test road outside,and the technical recommendations and control points of the cold mix were proposed.Finally,the test section of modified emulsified asphalt with water-based polymer was constructed in the west service area of fuping,and selected the water-stable mixing station to carry out the production of the mixture.After the paving was completed,the heating equipment was used.The pavement was cured and the road surface was observed.The results show that the cold mix has good road performance,can meet the relevant technical requirements as the middle layer,and has good environmental benefits. |
